    ÄLSKAR kommentarerna på det här inlägget, så himla roliga. På festen i söndags hade en av våra kompisar lurat i sin kollega att hon kände James Franco och att han var på samma fest som vi. Så när jag kom hem tog jag helt sonika och photoshoppade in JF:s huvud på en av bilderna. Det är liksom inte mitt bästa Photoshopjobb direkt så jag trodde att det skulle vara helt uppenbart att det var fejk, men så himla roligt att det inte var det ju.

Most of the questions I've been getting on my Alas Most of the questions I've been getting on my Alaska trip are about the bike: Where did I get it, how did I like it, what's the cost for renting, etc. This is a BMW 850GS from @motoquestadventures. They have other sizes of BMWs for rent too, but I like the 850 for the kind of riding I did on this trip: little bit of dirt, mostly pavement, bumpy roads, lots of weather. It's got plenty of power and it's a little on the heavier side, but I have very few complaints otherwise. If you wanna know more about pricing, tours, routes, and other locations for motorcycle rentals, I recommend checking out motoquest.com. (MotoQuest kindly loaned me the bike for this trip, but they are not paying me to say any of this. All opinions are my own 🫡)

I posted a packing video before I left for Alaska I posted a packing video before I left for Alaska and a bunch of dudes told me I didn't need all those things — THEY ride cross-country with just a pair of pants and a tent. To each their own I guess, I just don't think it's a flex to be unprepared. I prefer to hope for the best and prepare for the worst, so here are some things I brought to Alaska hoping I would NOT need to use: 📵 Garmin InReach: I rode through long stretches of remote road with no service, so bringing a satellite communicator seemed like a no-brainer. ⛑️ First Aid Kit: Self-explanatory. Luckily I didn't need to use it. 🐻 Bear Spray: I didn't bring this from home, I borrowed it when I arrived. Happy to have it on me, even happier to not have to use it. 🦟 Bug Spray: Completely saved me from getting eaten alive. 👩‍🚀 Mosquito Net: There were a few times where I really should've used this instead of toughing it out. ⛽ Fuel Bottle: I only had to use my spare fuel once, but man, was I glad I had it. 🔧 Tools: The @lawtigers multi-tool and my Leatherman came in handy in various situations (also zip ties). 🗺️ Paper Maps: I brought the Alaska @butlermaps in case I got lost in a place with no service, but ended up using it a lot more to find fun side routes. (And if shit does hit the fan, you know who to call: @lawtigerssandiego @lawtigers)
